The University of Nevada, Reno Fire Science Academy is home to one of the most comprehensive training facilities in the world. Whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned firefighter, the state-of-the-art campus includes hands-on training props and simulations designed to challenge experienced and novice firefighters alike.
The Fire Science Academy is known for its intense, real-life training and use of liquid petroleum fuels, which combine to provide exceptional live-fire experiences. A variety of fires are simulated using FSA Fuel, a unique blend of liquid petroleum developed specifically for the academy.
