Hazardous Materials Props:

• Box Trailer

A 35 foot highway cargo trailer with loading dock is available for student hazmat control training.  This prop is used in mixed cargo or unknown cargo scenarios.

Students in the hazmat team can combine this prop with a possible rescue and reconnaissance situation requiring extensive research. They must plan and execute a successful and safe plan of operations to control hazards. 

Warehouse and loading dock scenarios are also carried out with this prop.  Even the most advanced students have had difficulty with the problems presented here, adding weight to the lessons learned and skills mastered or honed.
